5. Note : Because Pohang Iron and Steel Company and its partner companies are scattered throughout Pohang City, there has been a lot of road damage caused by illegally overloaded vehicles, which has resulted in excessive maintenance costs. For inexpensive and durable road pavement, the soil stabilization layer was completed in 2004. Only the surface of the road has been repaved due to wear and tear, and the soil stabilization layer is still in use without any maintenance.
